Hello fellow Crafter's,

It is time for another challenge with The Crafter's Cafe Challenge Blog. Today our theme is- Girly! We have tow sponsors, Delicious Doddles and Guylou's Digistamps.

Here is my finished card. My image is from Delicious Doodles, Steampunk Fairy. Now this image came already with some gray shading. I took advantage of that with the wings. It was the first time that I colored an image like that. It was a lot of fun. I was able to buy some new Spellbinders and I used three different sets: Romantic Rectangles Two, Create a Daisy and Foilage Flourishes. Oh these are so fun.

I was super excited to try myself on the Create a Daisy and it turned out beautifully; however, this is not a quick undertaking... I took me about 45 minutes to make the flower! The flower has 5 layers and 10 petals each. The die cuts 1 petal of each size. The center of the Daisy was not so easy to figure out just by the picture of the package. I used 10 of the center pieces. To make the flower match more to the colors that I used on the image I did use my Copic R83 and R85 to add to the center of the flower. I am very pleased with the outcome.

A few pictures to show how the card came together.
