Mad Hatter Blog Hop

I had so much fun with this creation! It is the first time that I have tried myself at a hat. And I just love it!!!!

I started out with some leftover velvet. Then it was time to think through the process. Here are some pictures:






This is how the hat base was created. If you want more details I will be happy to do a in-depth tutorial. From there it was time to have fun with embellishments.




For the final touch I wanted to add a picture of the Mad Hatter himself! And this is a digi from one of my favorite sites Make it Crafty.

  10. This is an great project.. I love love love it. It reminded me of kindergarten when my mom made me a Yosemite Sam hat for Halloween... it was just a great project for us to do together. Great memories. Thank you for creating a project that took me back in time.
